Design project "Vakuum Lamination"

In my 4th. year as design student I made a project with vacuum lamination. I worked with a stool that curves in one direction and transfers the curve into a new direction.

Process

The idea was to make a vacuum lamination on a metal shell without a solid wooden mould. I tried many different techniques and managed to make a stool with a double curve bend. It definitely challenged the technique to its limits.
