Design project "Shaker inspired stool"

As a part of the "Shaking hands" exhibition in US, I created this tiny collapsable stool. The concept was that all exhibits should be carried in the hand luggage.

The stool is inspired by a Japanese concept. When sitting on a tatami mat, older people need a small stool to relief their knees. The Japanese version is so small it can hide in the kimono pocket.
