Grandfather - Villy Jensens trip around Europe in 1931

My Grandfather worked all his life as a Master Cabinetmaker. His workshop was in Fredericia and in many years he also had a furniture store in this city. His carrier began with an amazing trip around Europe from 1931-33.

He travelled through Germany to Switzerland were he worked for some time and met his travelling friend Carl. Then he walked through the Alps to Italy and visited all the big cities to the south. From Sicily he took a boat to Tunisia where he worked for 6 months for an Italian cabinetmaker. Then he decided to travel by car across the northern Africa through Algeria and Morocco and from here with a boat to Gibraltar. By foot he walked through Southern Spain to Madrid and further to Barcelona. From here with train to Paris where he met my grandmother. His drawn maps and photos from the trip are wonderful to study.
