SE19 - Rethink

The Annual Cabinetmakers Autumn Exhibition 2019

This year located at BLOX the new Danish architecture center in Copenhagen.

The theme "Re-think / Re-duce / Re-use" inspired the members to create designs with a clear approach to sustainability.

Kumiko Shelf was designed re-thinking the traditional Japanese Kumiko technique, re-using small pieces of wood from my workshop or alternatively re-using precious wood from end-of-life furniture. Finally re-ducing the amount of materials to a minimum thanks to strong joint techniques.
